It’s lined with quilted black nylon and 8 oz polyester wadding. Elastic ribbing on the wrists prevents the infiltration of cold air and snow into the sleeves. The hood is not fixed to the coat and is attached by snap buttons. The standard fur trim (not included) is also fastened with snap buttons so it can be removed when you wash the coat.
