Description The Atibaia White 2020 is a distinguished Lebanese white wine from the boutique Atibaia Winery, nestled in the picturesque mountains of Smar Jbeil, overlooking Batroun. This artisanal winery is dedicated to producing limited quantities of red, rosé, and white wines, focusing on quality and craftsmanship. This vintage is a blend of 50% Viognier and 50% Chardonnay, sourced from the winery’s vineyards at elevations of 400 to 600 meters. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo meticulous sorting, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, resulting in a wine with a 13% ABV. Tasting notes include ripe citrus fruits, white flowers, and a hint of oak, with a silky texture and well-integrated acidity, offering a harmonious balance and a lingering finish.
